Whenever a fifth Sunday occurs in a month (about 4 times a year), we hold one combined service at 9:30am in our parish hall. It is a more casual time of worship gathered around tables. Upon arrival attendees may collect a cup of tea or coffee and a selection of tasty treats before returning to their table.
Once people are settled we begin with singing led by a band and follow a prayer and praise service projected onto a screen. During the service people may refresh their tea, coffee or food.
The more informal atmosphere enables greater interaction and is a good way to introduce people to church who may not be familiar with the more traditional approaches.
