Harvest Festivals

Harvest Festivals provide the opportunity to give thanks to God for the produce of the land and for all his gifts to us.

Both Christ Church, West Goulburn, and St Bartholomew’s, Windellama, hold an annual Harvest Festival late February or early March.

Home grown produce, home-made pickles, slices, cakes, jams etc and examples of arts and crafts produced by parishioners are brought to the church for a thanksgiving service. This is followed by a fun auction of the goods donated to support a worthy cause as decided by the Parish Council.

Members of the community are more than welcome to join us for these festivals and pick up some wonderful local produce in the process.
